Things become ordinary when you stop paying attention. When you cease to use all your senses to observe with acuity and perceive with accuracy, you're giving up the ability to discover, to be amazed, to expand as a person; last to maintain ownership of your own destiny, because without continuously gathering rich and detailed information about the world around and within yourself, how can you learn, how can you grow any wisdom? How can you evolve if you don't engage intensely with the world?"
